To do this, one must visit the university website at www.woxsen.edu.in and click on the ‘Admissions’ button. Choose the program that you want to apply for and click on the button ‘Apply Now’. - Application Process: The B.Com admissions in Woxsen University usually take place in the January-February months for the academic year that starts from July-August.

- Eligibility Criteria: A candidate seeking admission to B.Com course should have successfully completed his / her 10+2 or any examination recognized as equivalent there to with minimum 50% marks.

- Admission Process: The admission process includes the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination of Woxsen which is called WET and personal interview.

Woxsen University Hyderabad B.Com Selection Criteria

- Moreover, the candidates’ performance in the 10+2 or any other equivalent examination is also taken into consideration. It was revealed that there is a passing percentage mark that one must meet in the 10+2 examinations although the passing percentage was not clearly stated. 

- The next round of selection involves the personal interview of the candidates who have been shortlisted according to their WAT scores and their performance in their 10+2 examination. This interview assesses the students based on their academic performance, co-curricular activities, their objectives and personality.

- The final selection is, therefore, done based on a composite score which combines scores obtained from WAT, academic achievements and scores from the personal interviews.

- Woxsen University provides a 4 year full time undergraduate program in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) with specializations in Product Design, Communication Design, Fashion & Textile Design, Interaction Design etc.

- The minimum requirement for the B.Des course is to have passed the 12th standard or any equivalent examination from any recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

- The admission procedure include an aptitude test that is conducted by the university and an interview. This is a creative and design aptitude test and it seeks to establish the candidate’s creativity. 

- The expected timeline for the start of the application process for B.Des 2024 at Woxsen is in November or December of the year 2023. The specific details in regards to the admission notification will be posted on the university website at the said time.

- In addition to the learning achievements, the admission criteria also include the creativity portfolio, extra-curricular activities, academic performance records and other aspects. 

Woxsen University Hyderabad B.Des Selection Criteria

- The 4-year B.Des program is offered by the university and the admission is given on the basis of the entrance test. It is mandatory to appear for Woxsen Aptitude Test (WAT) in order to get through the admission process.

- The WAT comprises multiple choice questions, drawing tests, small group tasks, and other similar activities that assess the candidate’s creativity, problem solving skills, visualization abilities, observation skills, and aesthetic sense. 

- Admissions are done on the basis of WAT as well as the scores obtained in the class twelfth exams. Minimum aggregate marks for the class 12th is 60% or equivalent grade.

- There are also some one on one interviews to check the passion of the candidate in the design field. The interview measures aspects such as clarity of thoughts, conceptual reasoning etc.

- Apart from Indian students, the B.Des programme is also open to international students provided they secure merit. The students from other countries are required to have passed the standard 12 and submit their examination results, as well as take an entrance test and interview.

- Some of the selected students have to pay about Rs 3 lakhs per annum for their tuition fee. Scholarships are also offered depending on the WAT scores and the portfolio assessment.
