University of Calcutta Master of Technology [M.Tech] Selection Criteria

- G.A.T.E. test is one of the essential criteria for enrollment to M.Tech program. Candidates for the program should have graduated with a minimum of 55% marks in any relevant engineering or technology branch. For the reserved category i.e (SC/ST/PWD candidates) the minimum degree mark required has been lowered to 50%.
- The university will have the final say for the selection procedure. The shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an interview and/or test. The last stage is the evaluation based on the candidate's GATE score, individual score in the interview/test, and academic merits.
