The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is conducted every year by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board for admission to undergraduate engineering, technology, pharmacy, and architecture programs in universities and colleges across West Bengal.
To be eligible for WBJEE 2024, the applicant must be an Indian citizen and must have passed or appeared for the final exam of Class 12th or equivalent qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as main subjects. There is no age limit. Applicants who have passed Class 12th in 2022, 2023, or are appearing in 2024 are eligible.

Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination (or equivalent) from a recognized board or university.
Compulsory Subjects: Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in their 10+2 curriculum.
Optional Subjects: In addition to Physics and Mathematics, candidates must have one of the following subjects as an optional subject:
Minimum Marks: Candidates must obtain individual pass marks in all the above subjects. Moreover, they must secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD) in the three subjects mentioned above (Physics, Mathematics, and the optional subject).
Year of Qualifying Examination: The year of passing the 10+2 examination should be within the time frame specified by the WBJEE authorities.
