The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Result 2024 was announced by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) on their official website on [date]. Over 1.25 lakh students appeared for the state-level entrance exam this year competing for seats in engineering and technology, pharmacy, and architecture programs offered by universities and colleges across West Bengal.
The WBJEE 2024 was conducted as a pen and paper-based test on [date] at exam centers across West Bengal. The exam had two papers - Paper 1 for Mathematics and Paper 2 for Physics and Chemistry.
1. Go to the official website of WBJEE - wbjeeb.nic.in or wbjeeb.in

3. You will be redirected to a new page with input fields. Enter your application number, password and security pin as asked.
4. Verify all the details and click on Submit. Your WBJEE 2024 result will be displayed on the screen.
5. Check your scorecard carefully with your name, roll number, marks obtained etc. Download the result as a PDF file and take a printout for future reference.
6. If website becomes slow or crashes due to heavy traffic, you may check the result later once traffic decreases. Results data will remain hosted for stipulated duration.
7. In case of any discrepancy in the result, reach out to the exam authorities. You can also apply for answer script revaluation or recalculation if needed after result date. WBJEE 2024 Toppers
The WBJEE 2024 merit list will not be compiled in tabular format. It will be a ranked list of candidates, with the highest-scoring candidate at the top and the lowest-scoring candidate at the bottom. The merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's scores in the WBJEE 2024 examination.
The following factors will be considered for the preparation of the WBJEE 2024 merit list:
The candidate's scores in the WBJEE 2024 examination.
The candidate's category (general, SC, ST, OBC, etc.).
The candidate with fewer collective negative marks in PCM will be given a higher rank.
Collective positive marks in PCM
If the tie is still not broken, then the candidate with more collective positive marks in PCM will be allotted a higher WBJEE rank 2024.
Collective positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry
Otherwise, the candidates with more positive marks in Mathematics and Chemistry taken together will be given a higher rank.
Negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions
If the tie still persists, candidates with less negative marks in Physics for only the 2 marks questions will be given a higher rank.
Negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions
If the authorities are not able to break the tie, the candidates with less negative marks in Chemistry for only the 2 marks questions will be allotted a higher WBJEE rank.
Date of birth
If all of the above criteria fails to break the tie, then the candidates will be allotted a higher rank on the basis of age. Older candidates will be given a higher preference for admission.
The specific date for the announcement of WBJEE 2024 results will be provided in the official WBJEE notification. Typically, results are declared a few weeks after the exam.
To check your WBJEE 2024 results, visit the official WBJEE website, enter your roll number and other required details, and follow the instructions provided.
