Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) is a state university located in Kota, Rajasthan. Established in 2006, RTU is affiliated with about 250 engineering, management and pharmacy colleges across Rajasthan. RTU administers these colleges and conducts examinations for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

1. The candidate should have overall 45% of average marks(40% for SC/ST) in the Physics, Mathematics and at least one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject compulsory in the +2 examination.

2. The candidate should undergo JEE Main and have obtained a valid score with them. You will choose the category, for which the minimum mark differs.

3. Admission is conditional for B.Arch candidates who must have passed senior secondary examination with mathematics as a compulsory subject and also should have secured 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). Moreover, candidates must also have the university level entrance test in architecture (NATA) qualifications.

4. For the candidate applying for Diploma it is necessary that he/she has passed 10th grade from the recognized board. There will be 5% of patently relaxed marks for SC/ST candidates.

5. Also, for lateral entry to second year of B.Tech/B.E, diploma holder candidate need to wain either 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates) in appropriate branch.

Rajasthan Technical University Admission Process 2024

1. Application and Registration
- Students need to fill out an online application form and register for admission on the university's website. Details such as name, contact information, qualifying exam scores etc. need to be provided.

2. Issuance of Admit Card
- Admit cards for the entrance exam will be issued to registered candidates online. Candidates need to download and print the admit card.

3. Entrance Exam
- The university conducts an entrance exam for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Based on performance in the exam, merit lists will be prepared.

4. Counseling
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for counseling rounds. Documents will be verified and candidates need to pay the admission/counseling fee. Preferences for branches and colleges will be collected.

5. Seat Allotment
- Based on counseling preferences, entrance exam scores and availability, seats will be allotted to qualified candidates in different programs and colleges.

6. Admission Confirmation
- Candidates who are allotted seats need to pay the admission fee/balance fees as applicable to confirm their admission and reserve their seat.

7. Reporting at Allotted Institute
- Finally candidates have to physically report at their respective allotted institutes on scheduled date to complete the admission formalities.
