The Railway Ministerial Civil Services Combined All India Computer Based Test (RMCAAT) is one of the national level tests held by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for the purpose of recruiting candidates for ministerial and isolated category posts under Group C, the Indian Railways. A RMCAAT exam poses a single CBT stage with 100 MC objective-type questions assessing a candidate's performance in the three following areas: General Awareness, Mathematics and General Intelligence & Reasoning. The exam takes us 1.5 hours in total.
The definition of the eligibility for giving RMCAAT test will be to have passed 12th/higher secondary or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks aggregate for SC/ST and other backward classes candidates. The reservation for SC/ST candidates is 5% relaxation in the subjects where minimum qualifying marks are required. RMCAAT examination is conducted by a few Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB) in India as many as a few times in a year at a number of exam centres scattered all over India. Such result is published after a period of around one month on the official sites of RRBs. The RMCAAT 2024 provisional exam dates in 17th March 2024 (1st shift), 24th May 2024 (2nd shift), and 11th September 2024 (3rd shift) are suggested for the coming year.
