Christ University runs a 1year intense Master of Laws (LL.M.) program with specializations in the areas of Corporate Law, Criminal Law, and Constitutional Law. The purpose of the program is to give strong theoretical legal knowledge and the skills in research to the persons who are focussed on the legal profession as their future career.
This LLM program has been created so that not only the theoretical lessons are being given, the students are also trained practically through moot courts, client counseling and internships. The programme comprises of cores like jurisprudence, law and social change, legislative making and mode of government, research methods and thesis subjects. Students will be able to select specialised elective course work in which they can enrol in subjects such corporate taxation, competition law, criminal psychology, human rights law, or constitutional litigation.
