Sinhgad Institute of Technology Pune (SIT Pune) is one of the best engineering and management colleges in the regions of Pune, situated in Maharashtra. The institute was established in 2004 and approved by AICTE and the university of Pune which is now known as Savitribai Phule Pune University. SIT Pune has NAAC Grade ‘A’ accreditation with a Cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.05 which verifies its commendable technical education standards. As per the NIRF Rankings 2023 recently released, SIT Pune has been placed at the 91 stand among the Engineering Institutes in India.  

SIT Pune has been imparting Under Graduate as well as Post Graduate courses in a number of disciplines like Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Master of Business Administration. They are able to admit students from April of the year through state and national level entrance examinations. CET examination dates are in the first week of June while that of JEE Mains is also held in June generally in the starting of the month. SIT Pune trains more than 2500 students per year. 

Placement record at SIT Pune is always excellent with top IT companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant and Accenture etc. On average, more than 80% of the students who are eligible for placements get placed every year through campus recruitment. The maximum salary provided in the placement drive of last year was Rs 1.2 lakhs per annum while the average package that one could get was around Rs 6.5 lakhs per annum. Broadcaster majority companies provided jobs from IT sector and secondly, from core engineering companies.

Sinhgad Institute of Technology (SIT) Pune was establshed in 2004, accredited by NBA and is located in the university of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Sinhgad Institute of Technology Pune also gets a very good placement every year. Some of the known companies that come for campus placement include Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture. While the highest salary offered in 2023 batch was Rs.18 lakhs per annum from American Express, the average package from this campus was about Rs.6.5 lakhs per annum. On average about 75 to 80 % of the eligible students every year are offered placements through the on-campus placements. Recruiters in the IT field include IT service employers and core engineering employers like L&T and Godrej.
