Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering, [JSCOE] Pune is a Private Engineering College in Pune, Maharashtra which is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. JSPM was founded in 2004 JSPM is also known as JCOE located in PUNE approved by AICTE, New Delhi and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra. The college has been accredited by NAAC and has acquired Grade A with CGPA 3.01 The college has NAAC accreditation of Grade A with CGPA of 3.01. As per the latest NIRF Rankings 2023, JSCOE Pune is also in the list of top 100 engineering colleges in India and it stands at 81.

Undergraduate and postgraduate courses are available in various fields of engineering and technological streams such as Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering and MCA. The admission process is generally initiated in April every year and is conducted based on the rank secured in MHTCET examination and centralized counselling. The new session admission of academic year 2024-25 will start from the month of April 2024. This is due to the fact that the autumn semester examinations are due in October – November 2023 while the spring semester examinations will be in April 2025.

The presence of the placement cell that is operating in JSCOE Pune helps in making students get placed in prominent organizations. Organizations that have been known to undertake placement exercises within the institute are Tata consultancy services, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Accenture, Cap Gemini, Tech Mahindra, Persistent systems, Hexaware technologies among others. The highest salary package of Rs. 32.5 LPA and an average of Rs 6.8 LPA were offered along with the placement statistics of the 2023 passing out batch, with more than 92% of the eligible students placed in the leading IT firms, core engineering organizations, software & analytics companies.

Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering, Pune is a Multi-Disciplinary, Self-financed, Co-Education Institution that provides Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in a number of Engineering streams. It was established in 2004 and is approved to Savitribai Phule Pune University. 

The undergraduate level BTech programs being offered at JSCOE Pune are four-year programs; the areas in which students can specialize are Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering (JSCoE) Pune has career and placement cell that helps students in getting placed in companies or getting an internship. A large number of student of the college got placed through campus recruitment drive held during the period 2022-23 with companies like Tata consultancy services, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Persistent Systems etc where more than 85% of the students belonging to the campus have been selected. The highest salary package that was offered was 18 LPA and the average salary package that was offered was around 6.5 LPA. Correlatively, more than 100 companies visited the campus for recruitment in IT Services, Core Engineering, Manufacturing industries and Consultancy firms.
