Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology (DYPIT) Pune is one of the top engineering and management college situated in Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune. DYPIT Pune was started in the year 1998 and is approved by AICTE New Delhi, the institute is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. DYPIT is a constituent of Dr. D. Y. Patil Education Society, Pune and has been imparting education in engineering, technology and management disciplines at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. DYPIT was founded in 1984 and recognized by AICTE and is an affiliated college of Savitribai Phule Pune University.

The institute provides courses of study in BTech in Computer Engineering, Information Technology Electronics and Telecommunication Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering and MCA. Besides, it also provides the MTech programmes in Computer Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems, Mechanical Engineering.
