BE Electrical Engineering 2024: Admission Process, Eligibility, Syllabus

4 Years
Degree
Graduation
Full Time

BE in Electrical Engineering is a 4-year long undergraduate engineering degree program devoted to electrical engineering which is also known as a field of engineering. The classmates will be exposed to various topics on how electric power is produced, distributed, and used to accomplish many tasks. The lesson plan also involves the study of those subject areas such as power systems, power electronics, control systems, electromagnetic theory, analog and digital electronics, microprocessors and signal processing etc.

Students advance to understand generators, network construction, measurements, and instrumentation. Successful approach here is to mix the theoretical parts of the course with practical ones, such as analytical, design. College campuses often have strong scientific laboratories in their arsenal that can be used to conduct a series of circuit and machine experiments, experiments with various systems, or electronic experiments, which provide visual learning. Through the program students will undergo the internship, industry visits, and a final year project in order to gain an experience of the industry.

BE Electrical Engineering Admission 2024

1. Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements, for this to be possible you should pass 12 Science stream which should include Physics, Chemistry and Math subjects or equivalent levels. Unlike general category, the reserved category’s eligibility criteria may be a little less stringent.

2. The most of college asking to take the engineering entrance exam for example JEE Main. Based on a number of factors including your score, you might get an admission.

3. Look up cut offs and merit lists - The different colleges will report admission ranks for each category. Make sure you know the previous year marks to see if you can be considered for the admission.

4. Follow up and be actively involved in the admission process - With your merit score from the competitive exam, you will get to be in a counselling session from various colleges and you have to go there and choose your college.

5. Separately applying in colleges, with separate admissions - Some colleges may not be assisted by the common counseling and you will probably need to contact them and follow their specific admission rules.

6. Apply Earlier - Admission season forms part of a calendar and there are important dates ranging from application deadlines to results. Therefore, you should frequently refer to the websites, exam bodies announcements, and colleges to ensure that you do not miss any time bound dates.

BE Electrical Engineering Course Eligibility 2024

1. A student should obtain a class 12 (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry and Math as the major subjects.

2. Minimum percentage of total aggregate score as decided by the university/institution, properly 50-60%.

3. For example: Qualifying entrance exam score like JEE Main, JEE Advanced and all state level entrance exams are the basic criteria for admission in some colleges/universities, while in others colleges/universities direct admission is offered based solely on 10+2 scores.

4. Similarly, a few institutes provide minimum marks in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level too.

5. Institute-specific age limit criteria can hinder the participation of the youth from 16 to 25 years.

6. Reservation/Classification of candidates will be as per norms of the State Governments.

7. May consider the proof of English proficiency as a requirement for students from non-English speaking countries. TOEFL/IELTS are two exams that can help the institutions to identify the level of proficiency of the students from non-English speaking countries.

8. For example, many colleges conduct the college entrance exams for their own admission requirements.

9. Upon being meeting any other specifications by the university/institute, interview, aptitude test, etc.
