The state level engineering entrance examination, i.e., Maharashtra JEE Main conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, is the responsibility of the Maharashtra state government. It is made available in place of the MHT-CET entrance test for admissions into engineering and technological courses of institutes in Maharashtra. The test checks if students are familiar with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. This is known as one of the competitive examination for entry into the engineering colleges in India.
The entrance exam will be conducted remotely in the form of a computer-based test. Normally the registration processes begin from January. The outcome is known through the scorecard and it is accessible online in the website by May month after the exam is held. The markscards show the marks and percentiles score among all sections and overall marks. They provide counseling thereafter for seat assignments to taking part in the participating institutes. The Maharashtra JEE Main Counselling Dates 2024 are not yet announced by the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). However, based on the previous year's schedule, the counselling is likely to start in June-July 2024.
