The Krishnankoil near Madurai, Tamil Nadu, established Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education, a deemed to be university, for higher education purposes. This institution was founded in 1984 by the Kalasalingam Anandam Ammal Charities. It offers 300 programs in the domain of engineering, technology, knowledge, business and law. The university is a center of excellence as it has leading edge resources, seasoned staff, and established quality links with business and international community.

Uttam courses at KARE are B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and MBA in Marketing Management. The programming, data structures, algorithms, database systems and networking are the core areas where the B.Tech CSE program will study and be equipped in. The MBA Marketing program that is offered covers consumer behavior, brand management, digital marketing, sales and distribution management. 

The culmination of the end semester examinations for the even semesters take place in October-November, and odd semester examinations for the rest of the semesters fall in April-May each year.

Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Eligibility Criteria 2024

- Students applying for any B.Tech, B.Sc, B.A., B.Com etc. programs are required to have a passing grade of 10+2 with relevant stream and minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

- Enrollment to courses such as MTech, MSc, MBA etc. is restricted for students who have a completed bachelor's degree in the respective area with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories).

- For Phd admissions applicant must be a master's degree holder and aggregate must be at least 55% or equivalent. in addition, a good score in GATE/NET is required for some situations. 

- SC/ST/OBC/differently-abled candidates are viewed as those who deserve reservation as per government rules.

- If candidates who are sitting for their final year bachelor's exams apply for this upcoming batch, their admission will be provisional until they achieve the necessary marks.

- Another selection process criterion is not depending on age limit conditions for certain programs. 

- The university also conducts their own entrance exam for some courses just to make the process of somebody's admission further.

Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education Admission Process 2024

- They provide different diploma and degree programs in areas such as forensics, electronics, sciences, art, humanities, and management.

- For undergraduate admissions, the candidates can be at least 12th passed or equivalent qualification with the minimum eligibility requirement to be taken as per the programs.

- The entrance exam at the university known as KLUET (Kalasalingam University Entrance Test) is held by university. These candidates will be shortlisted for the MBA program through KLUET scores as well as merit based on scores from 12th standard.

- Entry to some of the programs also relies on national level exam results like JEE Mains score or NEET score, as this case may be.

- For lateral admission into the second year, they have a different scheme where those who have already completed diploma programs can directly enter engineering programs.

- To apply for this higher level course, candidates must have a bachelor's or other undergraduate degree that meets the program's requirements. Students are admitted in college based on their test performance either entrance test or qualifying exam scores and performance.

- Application process happens online and all the information should be included. This will include filling an application form and an upload of the academic documents.

- After the lists of candidates have been announced the next step requires them to report for counseling and their schedules to avoid overcrowding which then be followed by document verification, fee payment, and admissions confirmation.
