Jamia Hamdard is a private deemed university standing in the capital of India, New Delhi. Established in 1989, it has become known for its pharmacy and health sciences programs. The university covers a wide green area and provides courses in all disciplines such as pharmacy, nursing, science, engineering, management, humanities, social sciences, medicine, and so on. Among its course offerings, B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) are particularly popular.

Jamia Hamdard University Eligibility Criteria 2024

Step 1) Educational Qualification
For UG degree programs like BSc, BA, B.Com etc you must have cleared the 12th standard with the relevant stream from a recognized board with defined minimum marks as per the requirement of the course.
Step 2) Entrance Tests
When it comes to UG and PG courses, you may have to take entrance exams such as JHAT. Verify first the course you are interested in and check the requirements for that course.
Step 3) Age Limit
In principle, there are no age restrictions applied. PG and Diploma (course duration) age limits are generally between 30 years.
Step 4) Application Process
You can either mail in paper form or fill out the electronic application form. These documents like certificates, photographs etc. must be prepared in advance and submitted by the candidate.
Step 5) Fees
Ensure you know the tuition information for the program you intend to enroll in. The application fees have to be settled while seeking admission now. Scholarships and grants are also presented to the students with merit and poor economic background.
Step 6) Selection Process

1. Apply Online
Start by visiting the official website of Jamia Hamdard and lookup for the admission/application link.
Create an account through the website and fill out the online application form. Detail yourself, include personal data, academic results, program information you plan on applying for, etc.
Upload cleared copies of documents including photographs, signatures, educational certificates and others as per the specification.
2. Entrance Test
The Pharmacy candidates, again, have to take an admission test conducted by Jamia Hamdard.
All the necessary information like test details, admit card, syllabus etc. will be updated on website only.
Visit the computer based test on the said date and time.
3. Merit List
After analyzing the filling the application forms, entering data and calculating academic scores and entrance exams results, the provisional merit lists are published on the website.
Check the name, score and rank from the lists on category wise.
4. Counselling
Successful applicants are invited to the campus to attend scheduled counselling sessions as per their lines.
Counselling session on program and seat allocation based on merit, preferences etc., to be attended and participated in.
5. Admission Confirmation
Following seat allotment, you have to complete the admission processes within the given time limit by submitting all your documents and paying admission/semester fees.
