Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) is a private university which has been deemed by UGC. It is located in Mesra, Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. BIT Mesra was laid the foundation in 1955 and is one of the prominent engineering universities counting among the topmost technical universities of India which offer both engineering, science, and management programs. Over half campus-specific and program-specific minimum aggregate percentages are 70%-75% depending on the campus and program.

- To be admitted into MTech course, the students should have a Btech/BE or equivalent academic level in the relative branch of engineering and a minimum aggregate grade of 60-65% depending on a designated specialization. Besides, many institutions count on the GATE scores as a pre-requisite for admission.

- MBA requires minimum a bachelor's degree in any areas for students. Sufficient aggregate marks needed 50 – 60 % in academics. For others, the entrance exams with CAT/MAT scores like are quite important as well. 

- Some master's and MBA degrees also evaluate work history as an equally pertinent requirement. An executive master of business administration degree is based on an extensive professional experience.
