Eligibility:
- 10+2(or equivalent) and must have taken Science stream in Higher Secondary with the minimum aggregate marks of 50% (relaxed to 45% for SC/ST category).
- Topics such as Physics, Chemistry and either Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/Tech vocational are to be covered.

Admission Process:
- Admissions are based on the conduct of BHU entrance test (UET). You have to do this by filling in the application form online through BHU website.
- Based on the results of the UET, you will participate in the counseling sessions and may optionally choose your subject specialization.
- Each seat is assigned to candidates by counseling procedure, which depends on candidate's choice, whether he/she is eligible for the seat and availability.

- The student will be allowed to secure a seat through the BHU Undergraduate Entrance Test (UET). Students have to attend for the written exam which consist of the subject related questions.
- Scholarships are facilitated even for programs like B.Sc. Additionally, admissions to BBDA (Hons.), involve marks that are cutoff in Class 12th examination. Students of Maths hons. must have at least 60% score in Maths in class XII.
- Apart from the qualifying marks (of class 12th) the merit lists are based on the overall performance in class 12th. Weightage is given to both Class 12th percentage together with the test marks only for admission.
- Reservation tally goes up and seating is reserved for SC, ST, OBC and PwD persons as per norms set by the government.
- The final seat allotment is done during counseling, considering the candidates' choices, position in the counter list given the number of available seats in different colleges.
1. Be sure to consult the eligibility conditions properly by the subjects in 12th grade, minimum marks and whatever the other criteria might be.
2. Online applications appear on the BU official website immediately when the window swings open. Be more cautious and don't leave it until the last minute.
3. The second step is to create your personal login and password by registering yourself. Fill in your application forms in every part correctly.
4. Upload soft copy of your class 10 and 12 mark sheets, certificates along with the hard copy of your Passport size photo and signiture in the prescribed format.
5. The objective of this step is to get the job done via online mode. Your credit card, debit card or net banking is the mode which can be chosen. Make sure that you keep the proof of payment.
6. Think through the selection of classes/courses and colleges that you have in mind and try to finalize them.
7. Complete the printed and submitted application form and it's fee receipt to save for any future need.
8. Should BHU UET be shortlisted, you will be notified to appear in the entrance test at the examination centers.
9. Download from the website, obtain a print out of tell marks and go for a counselling/interview session as appropriate.
10. Allocation of college and subject will be made under consideration of merit list, vacancy of seats etc. Show confirmation to the college once allocated.
