The BHU PET (Banaras Hindu University Postgraduate Entrance Test) is a university level entrance examination conducted by Banaras Hindu University (BHU) in order to select candidates for admission to the various postgraduate courses offered by the university and its affiliated colleges. PET testing process is designed in such a way that it is able to identify suitable students for PG programmes like MA, MSc, MCom, LLB, etc. within various streams.
Then every year BHU holding PET Tests with MCQs which is in three part- general aptitude, subject comprehension and subject knowledge. The test paper has 450 marks of which 8 marks will be subtracted for each wrong answer. Furthermore, the process of applying for the PET exam is normally started in the middle of February to March every year. Prospective candidates are asked to appear for the entrance exam in the month of May-June at various centres that are spread all over the country.
