Ajeenkya DY Patil University (ADYPU) is a private university which was established in the year 2014 at Pune, Maharashtra. ADYPU was formed in the year 2015, which is under UGC and AICTE approved University of Maharashtra. The university has a NAAC Grade A accreditation in the current National Assessment and Accreditation Council assessment. In the new NIRF rankings 2023, ADYPU has been placed at the 101-150 positions in the complete ranking list of universities in India. 

The university provides numerous undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses in Engineering & Technology, Management & Commerce, Law, Design & Arts, Liberal Arts & Science, Education, Architecture & Planning, Agriculture, Hotel & Hospitality Management, Pharmacy & Health Sciences etc. Some of the well-known degree programs are B.Tech, MBA, LLB, BDES, B.Sc., B.A., B. Ed, B. Arch among others. The admission process generally starts in February each year and students can appear for national or state level entrance examinations like JEE Main, CEED, LSAT-MH CET or through campus placements. It shall most probably commence in July / August 2024 for the forthcoming academic year 2024.  

ADYPU has adequate teaching facilities and resources necessary for conducting its academic activities. During the course of the program, the university really lays importance on placements and training provided to the student. It has already developed linkages with various leading organization in different fields of specialization for placements. The college has achieved placement of 85% of the students falling under the campus recruitments every year. List of companies recruiting from this college includes Accenture, Infosys, Wipro, Siemens, Voltas, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Federal Bank and Amazon. The students, in the highest scale, are being offered almost 1.8 lakhs per month while the average scale for a particular company ranges between 4,000 to 6,000 per month. It also reflects well on the industry-focused curricula and teaching strategy implemented in this university.
