UTU or Uka Tarsadia University is a private university established in Bardoli, Gujarat state of India. It was founded in 2011 and has evolved as one of the most popular educational organizations in the state. UTU is recognized by the Government of Gujarat and is also listed on the University Grants Commission (UGC) list of approved universities. Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Allahabad has been accredited grade ‘A’ by NAAC with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 3.31. According to NIRF ranking 2023 for Universities, UTU stands at 131 rank among universities in the country.

At the university level, the university provides programs in all fields and in all levels of study, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. This includes B-tech in computer science, Information Technology Electronics and telecommunication; BBA and MBA specializations include marketing finance and Human resource management integrated law programs; Bsc in Microbiology Biochemistry; BA Economics and psychology and so on. These end of the semester examinations are done twice a year especially in the months of October and April. These admissions are for the programmes that commence in the month of May every year and the admissions are based on state as well as national level entrance tests. UTU is well known for the training and placement opportunities that are provided to the students, many renowned organizations such as TCS, Infosys, Reliance, HDFC Bank and many more have been offering their services at the University. According to the information as of 2022, the maximum number of companies offered a salary package of Rs 32 lakhs per annum. Last year placements were excellent, more than 500 students were placed in reputed organization. Of the total students placed, the average placement percentage is as high as 86 percent, with the highest placement percentage touching 92 percent. Uka Tarsadia University known as UTU is an educational institute located in the Gujarat, India, which provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses across various streams of study including engineering, pharmacy, management, computer applications, agriculture, arts and commerce among others. UTU has all the modern amenities and facilities for training and development such as modern labs, library, sports complexes, and recreational facilities for co-curricular and extracurricular activities.

Some of the more sought after courses provided at UTU are the Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA). As for the fees structure of UTU, this is quite affordable as compared to most private universities of the country. For instance, total fee for BTech CSE is roughly around one hundred and twenty five thousand rupees per annum while the total fee for MBA is approximately one hundred and fifty thousand rupees per annum. Affiliate programs like BSc agriculture and BA cost around Rs 30,000 for each year.
