Tezpur University Admission Process 2024
- Applications open around February-March 2024. The university will release a detailed notification with exact dates and process.
- Admissions are conducted for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD programs across disciplines like engineering, science, humanities, etc.
- For most programs, admissions are based on national level entrance exams like JEE Main, GATE, NET, CAT or exams conducted by the university.
- Tezpur University conducts its own entrance exam known as Tezpur University Common Entrance Test (TUCET) for certain programs. Applicants have to apply and appear for TUCET.
- In addition to entrance exam scores, some programs also consider class 12 scores, academic background, interviews and other criteria during the selection process.
- The final merit lists of selected candidates are announced around June-July 2024 on the university's website and admission portal.
- Selected candidates must complete document verification and admission formalities as per notified schedule before classes commence around end-July or August 2024.
