Eligibility:

• Applicant must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council, or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and 45% marks in English.
• For B.Tech in Instrumentation Engineering, a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and 55% marks in English is required.
• For lateral entry to B.Tech, a candidate must have completed a diploma in engineering from a recognized institute with a minimum of 60% marks.

Admission Procedure:

1. Application: Online application will be available from March 14, 2024 to April 03, 2024. Applicants can apply on the official website of Jorhat Engineering College (JEC).

2. Common Entrance Examination (CEE): The Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be held for all B.Tech courses on May 28, 2024. The exam pattern and syllabus can be found on the official website of JEC.

3. Counselling: After the CEE result is announced on June 03, 2024, eligible candidates will participate in the counselling process. The counselling schedule will be released on the official website of JEC.

• CEE marks (70%) + Higher Secondary Examination marks (30%)

For MCA course:

• CEE marks (60%) + Higher Secondary Examination marks (40%)

For ME courses:
