GKVV also known as Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar announces admissions to its various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes every year. The application admission can be done online using the official website of the university which is gkv.ac.in or the students can also apply for admission in offline mode. 

The online application of the university can be done through the university website where candidates find the admission link. They have to make an account, complete the application form through online, provide documents, and few of them have to pay the application fees also online. The applicants are also encouraged to download the applications from the official website of the company. The completed form has to be attached to the other required documents and the application fee, after which it should be handed over to the university office before the stipulated time.

- The college has the approval of PCI to conduct the four-year B.Pharma program affiliated to the Uttarakhand Technical University.

- Students are selected based on the merit they secure in the entrance exams for the B.Pharma courses such as GPAT, UPSEE etc.

- If there are still some seats open after counseling conducted for the National level Examinations, admission can be granted based on the scores in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics, in the 12th Standard. Minimum aggregate required is 55% for general category students; However there are chances of increase in the percentage of passing students under this category as the government has promised to reduce the passing percentage to 45% and make education more accessible and cheaper.

- It is common to see the admission application forms for class 12th marks to be out in June-July 2024 and can be downloaded online from the colleges’ website or by obtaining them from the college.

- The approximate seat intake for B.Pharma for the 2024 batch is likely to be around 60 at GKV. This may vary.

GKV Haridwar B.Pharma Selection Criteria

- Admission to the institution is given strictly on the merit obtained in the national or state level examinations such as GUJCET, JEE Main, NEET etc. Students must pass the course cut-off marks set by GKV Haridwar as a basis for their qualification.

- For the students who have not appeared for any entrance exam The admission to the university is done on the basis of 10+2 marks. PCB/PCM must be taken by a student as an aggregate percentage and the minimum passing percentage required is 60-65% for general category students. The University allows relaxation in the cut-off as per the government norms for the reserved category students.

- Besides the scores obtained in the examinations, the college makes it mandatory for the students to pass the interview conducted by the college authorities. The interview evaluates other aspects such as fluency in communication, intelligence, achievement and activities outside class etc.
