Academic institution named after Babu Banarasi Das is a private university located at Lucknow in India. BBDU, which was founded in 2010, offers both bachelor’s and master’s programs that cover areas such as engineering, management, commerce, computer applications, journalism and mass communication, education, law, science, and pharmacy. 

bbdun is known also by the university grants commission (ugc). A significant part of the BTech programs offered by BBDU encompass Computer Science and Engineering, Business Administration including BBA, Commerce which is Bcom, BA LLB is a Law program, and MBA for marketing. The Computer Science program of B.Tech covers matters like programming, structures of data, algorithms, database management systems, as well as software engineering. Babu Banarasi Das University Eligibility Criteria 2024

- The eligibility of BA, BSc, BCom, etc. undergraduate programs is done only on the basis of 10+2 pass in relevant stream from CBSE/ISC/State Education Board with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates).

- The application of the above mentioned criteria is similar for the BTech programs - 10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) from a recognized board. 

- For MBA/PGDM - Graduation from any discipline under a fully accredited university with CGPA of 5 or higher (5.5 minimum for SC/ST/OBC).

- In particular, candidates planning to pursue MA, MSc, MCom programs must have the specialized graduation with the minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved category candidates).

- It would apply for Integrated law programs (BA+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB) - Any stream from Higher Secondary with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).

Babu Banarasi Das University Admission Process 2024

1. Admission of students is being provided on to the pages of a variety of Graduate and Undergraduate as well as Post graduation programs from these disciplines such as engineering, management, sciences, education, law, and so forth.

2. In the context of undergraduate admissions, the qualifying requirements for applicants is that they should have cleared their class 12th in the relevant stream from a recognized board. We chose students based on their merit in exams such as UPSEE, CLAT, LSAT, and others depending on their plan. In addition,to this,university organizes its own entrance exam .

3. For postgraduate programs, candidates should at least hold a Bachelor's degree, which has to be related to the respective program requirements. Admission is based on entrance exams such as UPSEE for MTech, on the Grade Point Average obtained in the qualifying exams (for MBA) or on the marks obtained in graduation for MTech or MBsy. 

4. The application process is done through the university portal. One clicks on the admission menu, and they are redirected where they fill everything in the admission form. Candidates have to submit an application form from the available program's list where they entered their name and other data. 

5. Students are admitted through this process around May-July every year. The counseling process is through which candidates undergo the process of allotment of seats based on merit, preferences, reservation etc. for which admissions are confirmed only after making the required payments.

6. The university has opened the door for more students through introducing certain categories like sports quota, Kashmiri migrants, wards of defense personnel etc. Now, all that matters is the fulfillment of the minimum requirements and then the applicant can apply under these special categories.
