COEP Admission 2024: Courses Fees, Ranking & Dates

College of Engineering Pune (COEP) is an engineering college offering engineering undergraduate courses in various fields. The Computer Engineering department provides a four-year BTech program providing admission based on the 12th exams PCM scores where the candidate must secure at least 50% marks. COMEDK, CET, and JEE Mains are the entrance exams accepted here along with the test conducted by this college. Civil engineering department also conducts a 4-year BTech course with the PCM criteria similar to JEE and MHT-CET etc The Mechanical engineering department also takes admission through the same examinations but 60% marks in PCM in the 12th examination is required for 4-year BTech degree course. The Electronics and Telecommunications department conducts JEE Mains and MHT CET examination for the admission process of its BTech courses where 50% eligibility is mandatory for PCM subjects in the 12th standard.

COEP has a program called Bachelor of Technology or BTech which is available in Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electronics and Telecommunications engineering.

COEP Pune Application Process 2024

The College of Engineering Pune (COEP) was set up in 1920 and is a premier institution that provides undergraduate as well as postgraduate degrees in engineering disciplines. COEP offers online and offline admission facility for the students who wish to pursue their engineering careers in this college.

For online application, one has to first visit the official website of the college which is www.coep.org.in, then select the option ‘Admissions’. Choose the appropriate program of your choice and complete the online application form appropriately. Since the physical documents are scanned and uploaded, upload the photograph, signature, educational certificates, etc., as per the size specifications. The application fee can be made online through the use of net banking, debit card or credit card. Save the document and retain a physical copy of the completed form for future use. 

For offline application visit the admissions office of the COEP and obtain an application form. Complete and sign it where necessary then enclose it necessary details and submit the necessary documents as photocopy. Applications are also by post through sending an A4 size stamped envelop addressed to the Deputy Registrar of the college. The application is normally done in June each year. Many of the states have their own centralized entrance exams such as MHTCET, JEE Main etc.

COEP Pune UG Admission 2024

The College of Engineering Pune has few undergraduate departments of engineering which include Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Telecommunication, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and Polymer Engineering. It is noticed that the admission criteria for these UG programs simply demand that one must pass the 12th standard exam having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as group subjects. Students should have passed these subjects at least and they should have secured minimum aggregate 45-50% depending on category. The recognized national level tests are JEE Mains, MHTCET, Maharashtra CET. COEP Pune PG Admission 2024

The College of Engineering Pune has various postgraduate programs in the field of engineering that it offers to its students.
