The Northcap University 2024: Admission, Courses, Fees & Rankings

The Northcap University (NCU) is a private university that is currently situated in Gurugram in the state of Haryana. NCU was established in the year 1996 and is accredited by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and endorsed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The university has also been accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade where it has obtained 3.31 on a 4 point scale. According to the NIRF ranking 2023 which was recently announced, NCU falls under the 101-150 bracket of Universities in India.

NCU provides wide and numerous programs in all fields such as engineering, management, law, applied science and media design. Some of the most sought after undergraduate programs include Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Arts- Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB), BSc and integrated MSc programs. The entry to these courses is done on the following national level examination – JEE Mains, NCU-CET, LSAT etc. The exam schedule for 2024 session are – JEE Mains exam date is 7th January 2024, NCU CET will held in 20th April 2024. The admission procedure includes registration online, entrance examination if applicable and personal interview sessions. 

Let me begin by stating that NCU has always been very good indeed in terms of placements of the outgoing students. The highest package offered at campus placements 2022 were in capgemini offering 16 lakhs per annum followed by virtusa 14 lakhs per annum, tech mahindra 10 lakhs per annum, and HCL technologies offering 9 lakhs per annum, accenture 7lakhs per annum etc. More than eighty five percent of the eligible students got placed in reputed firms and the highest salary package was 21 lakhs Hiring was done in Information Technology, Analytics, Consulting, Banking and Finance domains. The graduated batch got more than 520 offers from the 150 plus companies that recruited them from the campus.
