The establishment of SASTRA with an aim to impart STEM education is in itself unique in that it provides exposure to engineering, technology, sciences, humanities and management through its 9 schools. The key research areas at SASTRA are under the Nanosciences, Energy and Artificial Intelligence centres, respectively. SASTRA University Eligibility Criteria 2024

For undergraduate programs: Get a pass in 12th standard or equivalent with the specified minimum marks for a single program. Students may have some majors which might require some disciplinary requirements.

For postgraduate programs: Bachelor's degree in relevant field of the students which the minimum percentage is set for the different programs. Moreover, the hurdles of passing to these tests could rise.

For PhD: Acquiring minimum specified percentage in the successful completion of relevant Master’s degree along with the valid test score papers of examinations like UGC NET/SET/GATE.
