Eligibility:
- 10+2 or above, in physics, chemistry and mathematics, which is the sufficient matriculation subjects. Minimum grade points average of at least 50 (45 for applicants from reserved categories).

Documents Required:
- Certificates of grades obtained by the student in the 10th and 12th standard
- School/college leaving certificate
- Caste certificate (if you are caste certificate holder from reserved category).
- Domicile certificate

- Admissions are made via MHT CET that is common entrance test in Maharashtra state.

Mumbai University Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] Selection Criteria

1. Entrance Tests - Applicants have to take engineering admission tests such as MHT-CET, JEE Main, etc. Places in the course are given according to the marks/position achieved in this exam.

2. Aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and math in our class 12 board is the minimum qualifying percentage for admission to most colleges. The admission percentages vary from one college to the other and reservation systems.

3. Merit List - Since each school announces merit lists based on the entrance exam scores and/or the 12th grade ones. Candidates occassionally take seats in several programs according to their position in the merit list.

4. Counselling Process: Once the merit lists are out, candidates will be required to attend counseling on the timetables that have been set aside. Seat allocation is done on the basis of merit rank, category, and all the preferences filled and then seats are allotted.

5. Additional Criteria: Along with schools that require their own entrance tests, some of the computer science colleges also conduct additional tests for advanced or computer science aptitude skills. Grading in such essays also may be used as an admission criterion.
