The MAH BEd CET is just a simple abbreviation of Maharashtra Bachelor of Education Common Entrance Test. This test is a state level entrance examination for securing admissions into B.Ed courses offered by numerous colleges spread all over the state of Maharashtra. The test strives to select competent applicants and to evaluate their readiness for becoming the next teachers. The schedule of the exam is yet to be announced but generally it is planned in late May or early June every year.
The exam has two parts - Paper I is a general knowledge, mental sense and English. For the paper II, the candidate should be informed on the knowledge tests. The questions are the objective MCQs without negative marking for any incorrect answers. The B.Ed. CET 2024 exam will be basis for creation of merit list of participating schools in Maharashtra subsequently which will call students for counseling rounds of admission to their 2-year B.Ed.
Normally,the temporary answer key of the MAH BEd CET test is to be out in the course of one week following the test itself. Candidate can run test scoring and predict interim results before the final outcome announcement. When the results of MAH BEd CET 2024 are declared by as one month after the written exam, including qualifying status, the marks scored and the percentile secured, results can be obtained. We may soon need to undergo counseling because more than four thousand B.Ed seats across Maharashtra will be occupied in 2024-26 batches of various colleges.

The MAH BEd CET Counselling 2024 is tentatively scheduled to begin in June 2024. The counselling process will be conducted online and will be based on the merit list prepared by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra. Candidates who qualify for the counselling will be able to choose their preferred colleges and courses during the counselling process.

- GET to the exam centre well before in advance- at least an hour before the allotted examination time. This grants the luxury of preparing oneself for any unscheduled hold ups, security checks, and finding the designated room etc.
- Render yourself ready for the examine day regulations which are going to be explained on the admit card. Ensure you do the things you are directed to do properly.
- Make sure that you have both your admit card and a proof of identity, with a photo, in addition to you. Without OLS approval, you will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
- Bearing only the documents that are permitted is a smarter option for the students. The other items like mobile phone, watch etc. are not allowed during the examination in the exam hall.
- Ensure you are fully rested the previous night and have adequate breakfast in the morning. It is aimed at making the test process more intense.
- In case you have any doubts, you can always ask the supervisor a question. Also, be sure to answer all the details carefully and fill the answer sheet properly. Try reading each question carefully through before you answer; this will prevent you from rushing through it and making mistakes.
