Maharishi Markandeshwar is a deem university and situated in Mullana of the northern Indian state of Haryana. The college was initiated in the year 1993, and provides many different undergraduate and postgraduate courses in some of the most prominent areas like engineering, management, commerce, computer applications and many more. Maharishi Markandeshwar Eligibility Criteria 2024

- Students who have completed 12th in case of BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA etc. from the relevant stream with the minimum marks as per the program are eligible to apply. Different programs may have different percentage quantities.

- For the postgraduate programs such as MA, MSc, MCom, MBA, etc. student normally necessitate to have a bachelor's degree in the related field with at least prescribed percentages again specified by the course.

- Students who wish to join technical diploma or degree programs like engineering, pharmacy, etc. must have passed their 12th year with subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum marks in 12th final years is also allowed.  

- A lessening of the criterion percentage in some programmers in either merit or reserved category is there.

- University also uses its own entrance test besides the admission tests. Eligibility for the course will be evaluated based on the test scores.

- The university offers admission at undergraduate and postgraduate level programs cutting across all disciplines from engineering, pharmacy, physiotherapy, nursing, management to other courses.

- Admission to undergraduate programs is primarily on the basis of merit of the 12th grade examination; and the same rule applies for graduate programs too. For some programs, national or state levels of entrance exams scores are considered as well as the appropriate ones.

- To be admitted to postgraduate studies, the qualifying or university graduation examination plays a crucial role in selecting students for the other test and/or personal interview.

- The university has a streamlined online application process of the university itself. Students first need to have a university account. They must make an application via the university online portal and mention their academic, personal, and program preferences.

- We are receiving applications by announcement through the university website or ads usually at this time, May-June. The application window will remain open for the period of 30 – 45 days.

- Merit rank of the applicant determines the seat allotment within the framework of fulfillment of all the eligibility criteria, availability of seats and state reservation norms. Certain student enrollments are given provisional allotment letters.
