10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST) in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology). For B.Sc Biotechnology, minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST) in 10+2 with Biology as a subject.
Documents Required
10th and 12th standard mark sheets, Transfer certificate, Migration certificate, Character certificate, SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate, Passport size photographs, GAP affidavit (if gap between 12th and admission).
Admission Process
Admission is through entance exam conducted by the university. Exam includes questions from Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology depending on the programs. Based on marks in entrance exam and 12th standard, merit list is prepared. Counselling is held for seat allotment based on merit, reservation criteria etc.

1. For the B.Sc. programs, the candidates must have cleared their 10+2 or equivalent examination in science stream, preferably with relevant subjects.
2. There is a variation in the minimum eligibility criteria across different B.Sc.courses. Students should complete a specialization during B.Sc. program they have applied to.
3. As for the general B.Sc. candidates usually need to score at least aggregate 50% marks in their 10+2 science exams with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
4. Concessions may be given to the reserved category students in minimum percentage marks as per the government policies.
5. Admission is solely based on merit of marks/percentage scored in the qualifying 10+2 exams. Selection will be based on the thresholds set.
