2. Entrance Test: To be eligible for the Balia B.Ed programme, the candidate has to write the entrance test conducted by the university and meet the required cut-off marks.

The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Jamia Millia Islamia is a 5-year undergraduate program that aims at rendering students dentists. The students will attain much theoretical knowledge and practical skill which are related to oral healthcare like prevention, diagnosis and treatment diseases which affect oral cavity.
The curriculum teaches topics such as human anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, and microbiology as well as specialized dental courses in periodontics, orthodontics, oral medicine and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Students are exposed to the clinical aspect in the third year and onwards, where they are subjected to practical classes and rotations in the on-campus dental hospital.
