Eligibility
Graduate degree with 50% marks (45% mark for SC/ST/OBC/PWD). Exam like CTET/NET/SLET etc. should be omitted.

1. Graduation degree: A qualified candidate with at least a bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) shall be considered for selection.
2. Entrance Test: To be eligible for the Balia B.Ed programme, the candidate has to write the entrance test conducted by the university and meet the required cut-off marks.
3. Interview: The entry-test, after which interview round is taken to select the shortlisted candidates. 30 marks go for the interview.
4. Academic Merit: When making the merit list, the entrance test score carries 70% weightage while the interview performance carries 30% weightage. The educational background in general at the graduation time in so counted as well.
5. Reservation Policy: Reserved seats are made available for SC, ST, OBC students in accordance with general education rules in Delhi by Jamia.
6. Age Limit: It is desirable that the candidates under the general category be at least thirty years old. Age ceiling relaxation is just the same as in documented norms for reserved category.
