Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science (HITS) comes to be a university present in Chennai, India. It is a private institution. Since 1985, the Higher institute of Technology which has a variety of 50 undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs available in engineering, management, pharmacy, and science has been in function. HITS is a public recognized for its groundbreaking classroom approach, excellent industry connections and last-generation campus infrastructures.

HITS caters the most demanded programs like, B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering and BBA. The B.Tech Computer Science concentration covers the concepts and applications of programming, data structures, operating systems, and database management systems. Students receive practical skills including through experiments, projects, and technical assignments. The BBA School stands for guidance in business and development of business acumen and most importantly it equips with skills in finance, marketing, and HR.

Session starting at the next date 2024 seems not to have revealed exam dates by HITS yet. Such exams, in particular, the semester exams are usually held in November-December and April-May each annually. The entrance procedure requires students to provide their details on the online registration portal, followed by the HITSAT entrance test and the counseling rounds needed for final admissions. The universities plan to hold online sessions in late 2023 for the 2024 admission round. The selection criteria will be having examination performance of grade 10+2, entrance exam scores and personal interviews. Besides regular seats, limited seats are reserved for the candidates seeking admission under the management quota.

1. Application and Eligibility

- Applications are to be filed only online in the prescribed form and by the above mentioned deadline. Attested documents are also to be enclosed. HITS will necessarily have certain conditions that one must meet to access their service. The chance is almost certain that this will involve grade markings in Class 12 board exams particularly in the subjects involving science, math, etc.

2. Entrance Exam

- The HITS Engineering Entrance Test (HITSEE) is the only mandatory exam that will check the suitability for admission for candidates. It assesses aptitude and knowledge in those fields that you might need to operate there, like math, physics, chemistry, etc. Following the score analysis, the top-performing students will be selected.

3. Counseling

4. Admission Confirmation

- Lastly, you should take copies of the documents required and pay the fee stipulated. This process wraps it up and they enroll into their chosen program and campus.

5. Spot Admissions

- Seat vacancy means that HITS organizes finding rounds during which students who have the expected qualifications can file their application forms and seek admission to the programs.
