Deemed university Dr DY Patil Vidyapeeth is present in Pune, Maharashtra. In 2003, it took shape and has been known as one of the top medical and healthcare education institutions in India. The university has many courses across the fields of medicine, dentistry, therapy, nursing, eye care, biotechnology, and management. The MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) program is one of the top courses available for a duration of 4.5 years, and there is also the 4-year BDS (the Bachelor of Dental Surgery) program. The MBBS curriculum meets the world class standards and comprise of advanced facilities for education students. The maximum number of seats available for the MBBBS program every year is 150. The BDS course, eventually recognized by the Dental Council of India with 100 seats or more each year. Examinations of these programs, usually, take place in March/April and September/October in a yearly basis.
