Eligibility Criteria for AFMC Admission 2024

To be eligible for admission to AFMC, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Indian citizens only
  • Age: Must have attained the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission and must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date (Not more than 24 years in case of candidates who have passed or are appearing in final B Sc examinations).
  • Educational Qualification: Must have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) with a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) taken simultaneously and 50% marks in English individually.
  • Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence.

Selection Process for AFMC Admission 2024

The selection process for AFMC admission consists of the following steps:

  1. NEET UG Exam: Candidates must qualify in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) for undergraduate medical courses (MBBS) and NEET PG for postgraduate medical courses (MD/MS).
