Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), an institute of higher learning located in Chennai, India, and a deemed-to-be university. It was in 1984 that BIHER started offering nearly 100 undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs across disciplines, which include engineering, science, management, medicine, physiotherapy, nursing, architecture, and law. The number of BIHER students has exceeded 15000. Several faculty with considerable academic experiences teach and assist the students. Among the many offerings at BIHER are the two main courses, the BTech Computer Science Engineering and MBBS programs. The first course concentrates on the construct of the algorithms, programming, database management, and the operating system while the second course refers to the curriculum adopted by the Medical Council of India. Wrapping up of academic year exams for majority of UG and PG programs of the BIHER are held during October and November end. Students who wish to enroll in school for 2024 can submit their applications online via the school website or visit the admissions office in person. Regular admissions begin in January 2024 for all UG courses like Engineering and by April for all PG Medical sessions of the year. Offerings of placement depend on national level tests conducted by JEE Main/ NEET and BIHER entrance tests and interviews.
