Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research (BIHER), an institute of higher learning located in Chennai, India, and a deemed-to-be university. It was in 1984 that BIHER started offering nearly 100 undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs across disciplines, which include engineering, science, management, medicine, physiotherapy, nursing, architecture, and law. The number of BIHER students has exceeded 15000. Several faculty with considerable academic experiences teach and assist the students. Among the many offerings at BIHER are the two main courses, the BTech Computer Science Engineering and MBBS programs. The first course concentrates on the construct of the algorithms, programming, database management, and the operating system while the second course refers to the curriculum adopted by the Medical Council of India. Wrapping up of academic year exams for majority of UG and PG programs of the BIHER are held during October and November end. Students who wish to enroll in school for 2024 can submit their applications online via the school website or visit the admissions office in person. Regular admissions begin in January 2024 for all UG courses like Engineering and by April for all PG Medical sessions of the year. Offerings of placement depend on national level tests conducted by JEE Main/ NEET and BIHER entrance tests and interviews. BIHER infrastructure consists of modern labs, an advanced academic building, a sports complex, dormitories, and a healthcare center. Bharath University - Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research Eligibility Criteria 2024

- (For instance, such UG programs as BTech/BBA/BSc/BCom etc. - Pass the 12th/equivalent exam with getting aggregated marks no lower than 50% (45%--for the reserved categories, in relevant subjects).

- For PG programs MTech/MBA/MSc a bachelor's degree in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) is essential. Eligibility will be country-specific, and this eligibility may be program dependent. 

- For diploma – the minimum admission requirement is to have passed the 10th or equivalent examination.  

- For PhD: Graduation from the relevant discipline with no less than 55% cumulative marks acquired. That tender qualification candidate has to pass NET/SET exam.

- Besides that, students must get passing scores on the test of a certain major, any previous level's subjects they took, and other entry requirements.

- The marks of 5% are being relaxed periodically for the SC/ST category students for eligibility criteria.

- Usually in getting in students performance in 12th standard board exams or entrance exams like JEE Mains, GATE, etc is considered. Some programs might requite additional requisites.
