- The minimum requirement to avail B.Tech. admissions at Anna University affiliated colleges is passing the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) entrance examination.

- The TNEA exam comprises a single and all multiple choice questions paper covering the Physics, Chemistry and Math subjects only.

- Once the TNEA test has been completed, the common ranking list is generated using the marks scored by applicants. Same way, we separate category-wise merit lists.
