Rajiv Gandhi Technical University (RGPV), a state level technical university is located in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. Established in 1998, RGPV has now become one of the leading technical universities in Central India offering undergraduate and post graduate programs in disciplines related to engineering, technology, management and pharmacy. The university has a spread of affiliated colleges and institutions with about 150,000 students enrolled. RGPV has a wide array of undergraduate and postgraduate courses like B.Tech., M.Tech., B.Pharm., MBA and many others. Some of the most preferred courses on offer are computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering and MBA. Admission in 2024 will start in May 2023. Students have to compete with lakhs of applicants from all across the country or the state for national or state level entrance exams like JEE Main, MP PET etc depending upon the program. Exams are held each year during the December to January period and the results are out by February. Admission of students will be on merit basis, on the basis of exam scores, academic record and an interview to be conducted by the colleges. Since the academic year begins by July-August.

- The applicants are eligible for a number of BTech, MTech, MCA and MBA programs and other under and postgraduate course.
