KLE Technological University 2024: Admission, Courses, Fees & Rankings

The KLE Technological University, also known as KTU, is a private university established in Hubli, Karnataka. The campus was established in 2016, and it is accredited by UGC university and approved by AICTE. The university stands affiliated to NAAC and has received an accreditation of Grade A In the NIRF Rankings of the year 2023, KTU has been ranked at 151st position out of all the engineering colleges in India. 

Karnataka is one of the top favorite destination for students who wants to pursue higher education as it has KTU which offers Undergraduate, Postgraduate and doctoral programmes in Engineering, Basic Science, Commerce, Management, Pharmacy and many more. The university’s academic year is divided into two semesters of 18-20 weeks each for teaching and examination. The examinations are usually held at the end of each semester/ year and they are paper base. Karnataka CET is the normal mode of entry for admission to BTech programs offered in the institutes. In MTech, students are admitted on the basis of GATE/PG CET scores only. Application forms for admission in the 2024 academic year will be available in May, 2023.

KTU follows a very good placement pattern, as more than 500 companies are visiting the KTU campus for recruitment. Some of the leading corporate companies which are major recruiters are : Infosys, Wipro, TCS, cognizant, Accenture, L&T, Bosch, IBM, dell, HP, idea, airtel etc. Employment statistics revealed that 80% of the students grabbed internships whereas, the highest salaries package offered was Rs 43.33 LPA in 2022. The median compensation or pay-package stood at Rs 6.7 LPA. Other companies where recruiters also hunt for talents for analytics and consulting roles include McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, EY, PwC, Deloitte. They also continue their studies at world class Universities such as MIT, Purdue, UT Austin and other institutes after KTU.
