Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Eligibility Criteria 2024

1. For BTech programs: Pass in 12th standard (or equivalent) with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) aggregate marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics. Achieved the expected result in JEE Mains exam.
2. For MTech and PhD programs: Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant discipline depending with what is required by the program. Minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST) aggregate marks or CGPA. Should include any additional conditions established for this program.
3. For MBA program: Bachelor's degree with minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST) aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA.Valid CAT/MAT score required.
4. For all programs: Admission is done through performance in qualifying exams. May also include the assessment in the forms of tests/interviews conducted by IIIT-D.
5. The relaxation in marks for reserved category candidates as per government directives.
6. There are other criteria such as subject combinations, age limits, work experience and so on, which are relative to the program.

1. To be considered for a seat at IIIT Delhi each candidate must achieve certain cutoff scores in national or state level entrance tests such as JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, GATE or UGEE, etc.
2. For the undergraduate BTech courses, admission is primarily done based on the ranks of the JEE mains exam. Now only those people who will be selected in an interview round will have to take part in the counselling rounds.
3. In contrast to GATE, M.Tech and Ph.D. admissions for IIIT Delhi can be declared based on valid GATE scores or separate entrance exams like PG Aptitude Tests.
4. Along with the qualifying test scores, evaluation is also made based on the performance in the interviews/group activities that take place simultaneously in counselling.
5. IDIT (Delhi) also gives these BTech +MTech Dual Degree admissions based on class 12th results (minimum 60% aggregate). Those who were selected had to participate in a general aptitude test and personal interview.
6. In the counselling and admission process affirmative action is considering candidates from the classes like OBC/SC/ST under the government relaxed policies.
7. Selected candidates must fulfill all eligibility requirements without any gaps, meet the cut-offs of the relevant exams/scores/ranks, and send the appropriate admission fees timely so as to secure their seat.
