The Indian Institute of Technology at Bhilai (IIT Bhilai) is a recently set up new generation IIT by the Established in 2016. By 2024 IIT Bhilai would have completed its first decade starting. The vast 570 acres campus of IIT Bhilai lies in the state of Chhattisgarh and focused for its mission of taking research and education in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to be the next level.

In 2024, the institute is expected to offer the BTech programs across 8 engineering disciplines, which comprise computer science, electrical, mechanical and civil among the others. Along with Mtech, Msc and PhD in emerging fields such as data science, artificial intelligence, and cyber physical systems, it shall also offer the core engineering streams. A faculty known for the production of high-quality research guidance is to be headed by an accomplished faculty, therefore the IIT Bhilai is expected to write its name in the international research books by 2024.

IIT Bhilai Eligibility Criteria 2024

Educational Qualification: For the BTech course at the IIT Bhilai, the minimum requirements are a 75% aggregate (65% minimum for SC/ST students) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In Class 12th or equivalent.

Entrance Exams: This condition is a prerequisite for the students and they need to clear JEE Advanced exam. Those candidates who made it to the final list based on their JEE Advanced scores are the ones that go on to the counseling and admission procedure.

Age Limit: Not the boundary of age is fixed officially by IIT Bhilai for admission eligibility. Apart from it, date of birth of the candidate should be after 1st October 1997 to appear for JEE Advanced. 

Subjects Required: It is imperative to have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in Class XII which are the prerequisites for joining IIT Bhilai engineering courses. The group of subjects for the children will be PCM as well as any other subject out of the 5th choice.

The place of Indian Institute of Technology Bhilai again in the list that shows the level of placement for the corresponding batch of 2024 .
