The JEE Main is one of the most popular engineering entrance tests as it is a national level examination for admission to the undergraduate courses in engineering and architecture streams offered by the NTA. JEE Main is a examination which is divided in to two papers namely Paper 1, which is for admission to B.E./B.Tech programs and Paper 2 for admission to B.Arch / B. Planning courses.Technology Programs and Paper 2 for admission to B.Arch/B.Planning programs. This exam seeks to assess examination candidates on areas of physics, chemistry and mathematics. It is also important to highlight that according to the exam pattern, Paper 1 comprises 90 questions in total, and 30 of them belong to each section.
The JEE Main is conducted twice a year to provide two opportunities to the students to secure a good rank for their preference subject streams, and usually held in January and April. The calculations for JEE Main 2024 Paper 1 February session are likely to be announced in the end of January and for April session in the end of April. Based on the current data, the JEE Main 2024 exam dates are for January session: January 6-20, 2024, and the April session – April 6- 20 2024. The candidate, based on the above score, can appear for the JEE Advanced exam for admission into the premier IITs. CBT based examination will be conducted at the selected examination centres for all the courses offered by the university.

1. Registration & Application Form
- Please use the official website, which can be found at www.jeemain.nta.nic.in
- As soon as the link is open, you need to click on it for JEE Main 2024 online registration.
- Sign up for the user account and the tab for the form is where you enter all the necessary information for the application.
- Uploading scanned images of photograph, signature etc has to be done in the scanned format as per specifications.
- Click here to pay the registration fee (the amount will be communicated later).
2. Exam City Choice
- First from the homepage you have to click on the login button to open the login page where you enter your account details.
- Select your choice of the city for the exam
- The city will be allotted depending on a number of factors which include availability.
3. Admit Card
- Admit card will be out for download some weeks before the examination
- Download it and make sure that all the details placed on paper are accurate
4. Appear for Exam
- Ensure you get to the exam center at least by the reporting time mentioned on the admit card
- Please bring admit card along with valid photo ID which he/she had submitted during the time of application.
