Rayat Bahra University Mohali is an independent private university campus situated at Mohali, Punjab. Here is the general exam schedule for the university UG and PG semesters that are administered from October-December and April-May each year. RBU Mohali B.Sc Selection Criteria

- Basically, entry is determined on pass mark in the qualifying examination. The qualifying examination for most of the programs is 10+2 or equivalent examination with the following compulsory subjects.

- For some programs like BSc Agriculture, candidates also have to sit for any university entrance test that may be required. Then the candidates who got shortlisted undergo counseling session in order to finalize the seat distribution.

- Qualifying examinations require at least 60% aggregate score for candidates belonging to the General category. The concession granted is 5% marks for SC/ST candidates.

- While some of the BSc specializations may also have higher criteria to be fulfilled in terms of the subjects studied at 10+2 level or minimum marks in those subjects.

- Other than merit, and subject to government guidelines, reservation and quotas in the seat matrix apply. This includes categories such as SC/ST – the candidates belonging to scheduled castes and tribes, Defense – the candidates who have served or are serving the military, physically handicapped – the candidates with physical disability, etc. All these categories are filled according to the number of percentage of total seats in the university.

2. Under undergraduate courses, there should be a down arrow next to the course title B.Sc. of the program you want to apply for Below is the detailed process of the program you want to apply for: This will give you the opportunity to open the online application form.

3. To begin with, sign up and provide your email ID and other necessary particulars about your profile. It also gives you a password on your e-mail so that you can log in again.

4. You log in and ensure you provide all details that are required in the complete application form diligently. Ensure you input all detail correctly.

5. For marksheets of 10th and 12th as well as other important documents like Aadhaar card, upload scanned copies in the prescribed format. 

6. Deposit the application fee online through the facility of credit card, debit card, Net banking etc. 

7. After submitting the form, the form will be saved and can be downloaded and printed out again.

8. After completion, please post the hard copy of the applied form in addition to photocopies of all the documents with the university to which you are applying before the stipulated dates.

RBU Mohali B.Tech Admission 2024

- We are glad to inform all the general public that the sale of admission forms for the 2023-2024 academic year has commenced. The B.Tech programs are also offered in different areas of specialization at the university.

- For admission in this course, a candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with main subjects as physics, chemistry and mathematics. The minimum overall percentage of marks as per the category of the candidate is 45-50% marks in the aggregate. 

- It is Merit based, where students are admitted based on scores obtained in respective qualifying examination such as JEE Main, PU CET, or 10+2 standard percentage. The university also holds its own entrance test known as RBUET for students seeking admission in the universities.

- Application form can be accessed and downloaded online from the university’s website. Important tentative dates are:

  - Start of application process: March, 2023

  - Last date to apply: It is expected that this set of tasks will be completed between June and July of the year 2023.

  - Counselling dates: June-July 2023

- B.Tech courses are available under different streams such as Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics etcetera. 

- The tuition fee of the B.Tech programs is around one lakh to one and half lakhs every year depending on the course offered.

RBU Mohali B.Tech Selection Criteria

- It has flexible standards of entry that allow students in based on their performance in the qualifying examination. For most programs the admissibility test is 10+2 or equivalent with the subjects in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

- The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination and should have scored an aggregate of 60% for the general category, 55% for the SC/ST category for the admission.

- Thus, admission is done depending on the test which the candidate takes at RBUET, which is the engineering entrance test of the university. It is in the online mode that it is carried out.

- If a candidate has a valid score of JEE Main, he can directly admission will be based on the percentile/rank of the candidate, there is no need to appear for RBUET.

- In addition to marks achieved in the qualifying exam and/or entrance test, the performance in extra curricular activities are also considered while granting admission in the university.

- University wise entrance test conducted by university is held for taking admission to B.Sc programs. Aspirants have to write and sit for this entrance exam Students have to write and sit for this entrance test.

- Again, in some cases, the admission process for the B.Sc programs may also be done based on the performance of the candidate in the 12th board. The university then considers percentage of marks obtained in 12th boards as a cutoff percentage.

- Apart from entrance test score and/or performance in 12th board exam, the candidates are also required to follow the university norms of passing 12th standard in relevant subjects for specific B.Sc programmes.

2. Choose the course that you would like to enroll in for a bachelor of science and then click on the apply now button.

3. Sign up for an Account with your personal information such as name, email address, contact number etc.

4. Navigate to the application page and complete the form with the information you have on hand and use your login information to access the application page. Fill all necessary information related to academics, personal information, upload your documents etc.

5. Pay the application fee either online through means such as credit card/ debit card, net banking etc. 

6. Complete the application form and attach the necessary documents After that, save the filled application in a PDF form and take a printout for your records. Make sure that you enclose with the necessary documents and mail to the university address mentioned.

7. Documents required are: The documents to be submitted include mark sheets of tenth and twelfth classes, school or college leaving certificate, character certificate, migration certificate if any, and passport size photographs.

8. If selected, then you are subjected to counseling rounds. Sulfadiazine is a sulphonamide antibiotic and is useful in the treatment of urinary tract infections, respiratory tract infections, eye infections and chronic prostatitis. 

9. Pay the admission/fee as assigned to confirm your admission and submit your documents for review.

RBU Mohali MBA Admission 2024

- The MBA program at the university is a 2 year full time program while the other programs are offered in the part time/ evening basis in different fields of specialization.

- The admission process includes RBUMAT – Rayat Bahra University Management Aptitude Test and personal interview with the admission committee along with a group discussion. 

- The RBUMAT exam will be held in May/June, 2023. As for the registration, it is possible around 1 and half to 3 months prior to the particular test.

- While the admission requirements for the MBA program include obtaining a bachelor’s degree in any field with at least 50% marks or 45% for SC/ST candidates. 

- Decision after the final stage depends on the score achieved in the written test and group discussion, personal interview followed by the academic achievement and experience if any.

- The breakup of the expenses includes approximate annual one lakh and twenty five thousand rupees as tuition fee for MBA as per last year. The charges for Hostel & Mess are additional to the above fees.

RBU Mohali D.Pharma Admission 2024

- Rayat Bahra University has a Diploma course in Pharmacy (D.Pharma which is a two years course). It is only a criterion for eligibility that one must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics.

- This is because the admission notification or application form to join the D.Pharma batch of the university starting in 2024 has not been released yet. Such details are generally made available six to twelve months to the start of the academic year.

- The D.Pharma admission of Rayat Bahra University is available at the moment for the 2023-24 academic session. The last date of application for the same was November 30, 2022.

- The courses offered are usually credit based system and usually admit students on merit, where merit is calculated from the marks/percentage obtained in the qualifying examination. There may also be an entrance examination which may be required before admission.

RBU Mohali D.Pharma Selection Criteria

- However, there is also an entrance exam at the university called RBU-PAT or Rayat Bahra University Pharmacy Aptitude Test. Only the candidates with merit are called for this test and the short listing is done carefully.

- The RBU-PAT comprises of one hundred questions that are questions and answer type questions and they test aptitude and mental ability, knowledge in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Total time for the lesson is 2 hours.

- Depending on the score in the qualifying exam (with concessions if any) and score in RBU-PAT, the final merit list is declared and admissions are provided.

- Where two or more candidates are equally qualified, then the candidate with higher percentage in the qualifying examination has to be preferred. If tie still persists, the percentage score that the candidate obtained in the immediate previous examination is considered for evaluation.
