Rayat Bahra University is a private University established in the year 2010 located in Mohali, Punjab state of India. Founded in the year 2011, it has been accredited by University Grants Commission and affiliated to All India Council for Technical Education. This university was accredited by NAAC and got Grade A NAAC accreditation for its programs Rayat Bahra University, ranked 151 out of all the universities in India in the NIRF rankings of 2023.
The university has a diverse array of courses and is spread across various streams such as engineering, management, pharmacy, law, agriculture, education, commerce, computer applications etc. Among the main courses offered our BTech, MTech BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, BPharm, MPharm LLB, BEd etc.. The exams for these courses are administered in April/May and November/December of every year. Students can join the college from January and the admission process can be done both online and offline. Admission is also given to the students on the basis of national level entrance examinations like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, etc as well as university level entrance tests.
To sum up, Rayat Bahra University has disclosed good placement records in the past. Leading companies that recruit include Infosys, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Deloitte, among others. The students’ placement rates are very impressive as more than 85% of the students are placed every academic year. On campus, the maximum salary package offered has been 24 lakhs per annum. The salary scales of a typical company are moderate and the average compensations offered are between 4-6 lakhs per annum. Rayat Bahra University Placements 2024
The University is quite famous and reputable for having a good placement record. Many leading companies are regular visitors of the university and some of the big names which have hired talents from the university include Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro and Tech Mahindra. Microsoft was the highest recruiting company in the year 2021 which offered the highest salary package of 42 lakhs per annum. Salary package varies from Rs 6-8 Lacs per annum and it remains more or less same across its branches. Over 500 students get placement every year based on their course. For the academic year 2022, the overall placement status was quite impressive where 90% of the total student turnover got placed in some of the leading companies. The placement cell works with students and assists them to get internships also as part of placing them. As the varsity has been offering more professional courses and having its curriculum in sync with the requirements of the corporate world, Rayat Bahra University is expected to attain 100 per cent placements in the coming years.
