- A graduate degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST students) from a university of a good standing should be the Attorney General’s qualification.

- Admissions are on the merit basis and evaluates the candidate’s grades in the LL.B. (Bachelor of Law) degree. They provide the detail of enrollment rate and position if any.

- The university holds a class of its own; it is for the LLM admission. After the pre screening, candidates eligible for the interview are called for counseling/personal interviews. The way they execute in the interview is considered too.

- Along with the above mentioned seats, there are seats allotted to candidates based on their NET (UGC) and/or JRF qualification and/or having work experience of a period of 4 years.
