The Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test (HPU-MAT) is a Himachal Pradesh level entrance exam that is conducted for the admission in MBA and other business management programs of the Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) affiliated to colleges and institutions in the various areas of Himachal Pradesh. The HPU MAT intends to explore the suitability of the students for pursuing the management studies by evaluating their analytical capabilities in data interpretation, logical and abstract reasoning, command of the language, and their general awareness. The annual examination is done in its pen-and-paper format that is the multiple-choice paper consists of 200 questions. 

The candidates need to finish them within the stipulated 150-minute duration. As per the expected release period, which is in the month of June 2024, the results of HPU MAT 2024 will be announced on the official website. Aspirants who crack the threshold limit will have to go through the group discussions & face to face interviews for the further admission process. The Application process for HPU MAT 2024 is anticipated to restart in March month and the entrance test will all most definitely be held on the same schedule in May 2024 at the examination centers across Himachal Pradesh.

HPU MAT Counselling Dates 2024

1. Registration: Candidates will need to register for counselling on the official website of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) by entering their registration number and password.
2. Choice Filling: Once registered, candidates will need to fill in their choices of institutes and programs in order of preference.
3. Seat Allotment: The seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their merit rank in the HPU MAT 2024 and their choices.
4. Document Verification: Once the seats are allotted, candidates will need to report to the allotted institute for document verification.
5. Admission: Once the documents are verified, candidates will be admitted to the allotted program.
