How to Apply for B.Tech in IIT Gandhinagar 2024?

1. Eligibility criteria - Applicants must have completed their 12th grade with marks more than 75% in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Maths). You should also have a valid JEE Main score and /or any state level engineering entrance examination.

2. Online form - Interested candidates shall have complete details of the courses and their eligibility criteria and shall apply online during the months of March-April every year. The candidate also needs to create an account with the application form where the candidate has to enter his/ her personal details like personal details, qualification, JEE main score etc. 

3. Documents to be uploaded – After duly filing the form, as per the specifications, the candidate needs to upload scanned copies of necessary documents such as photograph, signature, class X and XII mark sheets, JEE Main score card etc.

4. Fill application form – Fill in the application form online with the details as per the documents required for verification. Fee amounts are for the most part Rs. 150 for female contenders and Rs.300 for other contenders.

5. Check status – You should log into your dashboard from time to time and follow the progression of your B.Tech application. Candidates that made the final list will receive a call for counseling.

6. Counseling process-If selected, you need to attend the counseling session as has been arranged. Engage in rounds of identifying seat allocation of chosen schools and archiving of documents.

7. Admission - Following the seat allotment, ensure you process the admission within the specified time period by paying the admission fee to secure your provisional admission.
