RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering Pune is an engineering college situated in the city of Pune in state of Maharashtra. It was established in 2011 and comes under the Savitribai Phule Pune University of the state of Maharashtra. RMD Sinhgad is a self-financed college affiliated to the University of Pune which is approved by NAAC and has a B+ grade. According to the NIRF ranking of the year 2023, RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering stands 151 among the Engineering Colleges in India. The institute has a engineering stream for under graduate and post graduate programs for various engineering fields. Each of the courses offered has received approval from AICTE to enhance the quality of education offered.

The institute provides undergraduate programs-4 year bachelors in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering Mechanical Engineering Civil Engineering and Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. Most of these programs are offered through the Maharashtra state Common Entrance Test (CET), although, there are few other ways of getting admission to these programs. Besides, RMD Sinhgad also provides postgraduate programmes in the form of 2-year Master of Engineering in Machine Design, Structural Engineering, Computer Engineering and Master of Computer Applications. Admission to PG programmes is conducted through an entrance test and interview at the institute level.  

RMD Sinhgad School of Engineering, it is worth saying that they are very active and offer many opportunities for graduating students. More than 130+ companies of different sectors such as IT, core engineering, construction sectors, manufacturing sectors, etc. visit our campus for placing every year. Some of the key recruiters in this location are Infosys, TCS, Jaro Education, Persistent Systems and Neilsoft among others. The college is able to provide placements to around 85% of the students who apply for placements and the average salary package offered to the students is ranging between 3 to 5 LPA. Even some of the highly demanded software packages start from as low as 9 LPA.
