PES College of Engineering Mandya is a private college that has its campus in Mandya, Karnataka, and established year 1962. It is accreditated by AICTE and it is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. The college has recognized by the National Assessment of Academic Standards now known as NAAC has awarded the college grade ‘A’. In the NIRF ranking of the colleges it stands at 151 in engineering colleges in 2023. The establishment, equipped with sophisticated facilities situated in fifty one acres area of land, helps the students to excel as well as to transform into total personalities.

The college provides undergraduate degrees in five engineering disciplines including Computer Science & Engineering, Information Science & Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering along with post graduate degree with three specializations. These programs are offered based on the scores obtained in KCET, with centralized counselling conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). The KCET 2024 exams’ dates will be provided by the KEA or the Karnataka Examination Authority. They can even apply online via the website of the Kenya e-learning university Known as KEA. The selection will be done depending on merit scores in the said qualifying examination and also the ranks secured in the KCET examination. 

The training and placement cell also imparts aptitude training, Technical Training, Soft Skills to make the students more employable. In the given year, a record 92% of the students attain placement in the industry. The training and placement cell of the institute attracts about 150 companies for placements and top firms such as Infosys, WIPRO, Accenture, L&T, Bosch etc. The highest salary offer is 14 LPA while the average salary offered is 5 LPAs.

PES College of Engineering Placements 2024

This college has also maintained a decent placement record where the majority of the students, specifically more than 60% among them, manage to get placed every year. Some of the renowned organizations that actively recruit from the Institute are Infosys, Wipro, TATA Consultancy Services, Cognizant, and Accenture, among others. The maximum number of placements were made by Microsoft in the year offering a pay package of Rs. 18 lakh per annum. The salary offered in most of the firms is moderate and it varies from 40000 to 60000 rupees per annum. In the academic year, more than five hundred students got placements and the Computer Science Engineering, Information Science, Electronics and Communications engineering branches have emerged as the highest recruiters grossing more than 80% placements. Several students are placed through campus interviews with more than 50 companies coming to the campus for recruitment purposes, including IT service companies and core engineering companies recruiting mechanical, civil, and other engineers. Future strides are being made for increasing the PES Mandya placement ratio in years to come.
