VSSUT is a state technical and research university which is in Burla, the capital of Odisha, India. As one of the colleges which started in 1956, it is the Oldest and most Prestigious Engineering College in Odisha. VSSUT has the courses delivered at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in diverse disciplines of engineering, technology and management. The 2 flagship programs are the 4-year-long B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering and the 2-year long MBA in Marketing Management. Consequently, the final exams for odd semesters (January - March) and even semesters (July - September) are held in October-November and April-May, respectively, annually. Admission process for B.Tech & BBA programs scheduled to begin 2024 is expected in beginning of February 2023. Students are going to have OJEE or JEE Main exams and go through the online process of the web-based counselling on the basis of their rank list. Application will be available on our website from the official website. For MBA and other PG programs, the candidates have to write valid respective exams like MAT/CAT etc. The admission procedure is divided into various stages such as registration, choice filling, document verification and fee paying.

Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Admission Process 2024

- Admissions to BTech, MTech, MCA, MBA, and other programs such as UG/PG offered at VSSUT and its affiliated colleges.

- For BTech, students have to attempt Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) or JEE Main and have to obtain the required ranks else they would not qualify. The counseling is done on the basis of the ranks either you are OJEE or JEE Main.

- Students with a diploma degree in engineering will be given the option of enrolling in BTech(2nd year) directly. Admission criteria for VSSUT involve a test administered by the institution.

- For Getting into the MTech, students are required to clear GATE or VSSUT's own entrance exam and the counselling procedure.

- In case of MBA and MCA, admission is finalized on the basis of their OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) scores where in a counseling session is held.

- In MCA course, straight admission into 2nd year (3rd semester) will be considered ONLY for candidates who have a BCA/BSc (IT/CS) degree with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST).

- All the application forms are posted on the official website of the institution simultaneously when the admission season starts.

- The application fees and the procedures are also not same for distinct programs.
